We joined our senior classes (Kahikatea and Kauri) and experimented in keeping warm. We looked at how blubber, huddling and feathers/wool kept us warmer in ice water. Some of our Kahikatea students created a giant iceberg for our classroom, where we could attach our learning as we move through the topics. We also created a race to get dressed in the warmest clothes! Lot's of really interactive learning happening last week!
