We were lucky to visit Lake Waikaremoana this week - what better place to experience NZ's brilliant biodiversity than Te Urewera?!
The vibrant greenery was amazing and this video doesn't do it justice. We saw moss, ferns, fungi, trees, vines, webs, spiders, worms, bugs, weird pond worms (!), animal droppings, footprints, kererū, pīwakawaka, tui, swans, ducks, trout, lakes, rivers, ponds, waterfalls and so many other great examples of biodiversity! It's an amazing area to explore.
